Shannon Burns

Invite Shannon

During my first term as YOUR Commissioner, I have been delighted to meet many new people in District 6:  People who love our forest Preserves as much as I do! People who have good ideas about how to make the District better, people who have problems that I can help resolve, and people who want to become more involved in nature through District programs. It has been a privilege to serve everyone in District 6 and I look forward to continuing to serve you during a second term.

I’m looking forward to meeting new people as my campaign for re-election to the position of District 6 Forest Preserve Commissioner evolves. Listed below are a few ideas for including me in your next event or meeting. The best way for you to decide if you want me to continue to serve as YOUR Commissioner is to meet me in a setting where we have a chance to share concerns, ideas and thoughts.

If you give me the courtesy of an invitation, I promise to arrive on time, to be prepared and enthusiastic, to focus on the topics, to honor your time constraints, and to listen to comments and concerns from your group.
